    Banks all over the country shall remain closed on New Year’s Day.
  • 07.01.2024 (Sunday) – Sunday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide shall be shut on 07th Jan as it is a Sunday.
  • 11.01.2024 (Thursday) – Missionary Day – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Mizoram will be closed on 11th January in lieu of Missionary Day.
  • 12.01.2024 (Friday) – Swami Vivekananda Jayanti – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in WB will remain closed on 12th January for Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.
  • 13.01.2024 (Saturday) – Second Saturday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks all over the country shall take a break on 13th January as it is the second Saturday of the month. In addition to this, Punjab, J&K, and Himachal Pradesh shall also observe the festival of Lohri on the same day.
  • 14.01.2024 (Sunday) – Sunday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide shall be shut on 14th Jan as it is a Sunday.
  • 15.01.2024 (Monday) – Makar Sankranti, Magh Bihu, and Pongal – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Assam, Gujarat, Karnataka, Sikkim, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu will be closed for regional festivities.
  • 16.01.2024 (Tuesday) – Kanuma & Thiruvalluvar Day – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu will remain closed on 16th Jan in view of Kanuma & Thiruvalluvar Day.
  • 17.01.2024 (Wednesday) – Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti & Uzhavar Thirunal – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Chandigarh, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu will remain shut on 17th Jan for Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti & Uzhavar Thirunal.
  • 21.01.2024 (Sunday) – Sunday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide shall be shut on January 21st as it is a Sunday.
  • 22.01.2024 (Monday) – Shree Ram Temple Ayodhya Inaugural Day – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand are set to remain closed on 22nd Jan. Banks (especially PSUs) in other parts of the country are also likely to function as a half-day.
  • 23.01.2024 (Tuesday) – Gaan-Nagai, Hazrat Ali Jayanti, and Statehood Day – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh will not open on the 23rd of January in lieu of Gaan-Nagai, Hazrat Ali Jayanti, and Statehood Day.
  • 26.01.2024 (Friday) – Republic Day – National Bank Holiday
    India will celebrate its 75th Republic Day on the 26th of January, and banks nationwide will remain closed.
  • 27.01.2024 (Saturday) – Fourth Saturday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks all over the country shall take a break on 27th January as it is the fourth Saturday of the month.
  • 28.01.2024 (Sunday) – Sunday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide shall be shut on 28th Jan as it is a Sunday.

Bank Holidays in February 2024

  • 04.02.2024 (Sunday) – Sunday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide shall be shut on 04th Feb as it is a Sunday.
  • 10.02.2024 (Saturday) – Second Saturday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide will remain closed on the 10th of February because it is the second Saturday of the month. Additionally, Sikkim will also observe a state holiday for Losar.
  • 11.02.2024 (Sunday) – Sunday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide shall be shut on 11th Feb as it is a Sunday.
  • 14.02.2024 (Wednesday) – Vasant Panchami – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in some regions (Haryana, Odisha, Tripura, and West Bengal) shall remain shut for Vasant Panchami or Saraswati Pooja.
  • 15.02.2024 (Thursday) – Louis Ngai Ni – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Manipur shall not open on 15th February because of Louis Ngai Ni holiday.
  • 18.02.2024 (Sunday) – Sunday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide shall be shut on 18th Feb as it is a Sunday.
  • 19.02.2024 (Monday) – Shiv Jayanti – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Maharashtra shall be closed on 19th February for the Birth Anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
  • 20.02.2024 (Saturday) – Statehood Day – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram are slated to remain closed on 20th Feb for Statehood Day.
  • 24.02.2024 (Saturday) – Fourth Saturday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide will remain closed on 24th Feb as it is the fourth Saturday of the month. Also, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab will have state holidays for Guru Ravidas Jayanti.
  • 25.02.2024 (Sunday) – Sunday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide shall be shut on 25th Feb as it is a Sunday.

    Banks nationwide shall be shut on 03rd March as it is a Sunday.
  • 05.03.2024 (Tuesday) – Panchayati Raj Day – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Odisha are slated to remain closed for Panchayati Raj Day on 05th March.
  • 08.03.2024 (Friday) – Mahashivratri – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in all states & UTs except Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Goa, Assam, Lakshadweep, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal shall be closed on 08th March for Mahashivratri festivities.
  • 09.03.2024 (Saturday) – Second Saturday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide will remain closed on 09th March as it is the second Saturday of the month.

    Banks nationwide shall be shut on 10th March as it is a Sunday.

    Banks in Bihar will remain closed on the 22nd of March in lieu of Bihar Day.

    Banks nationwide will remain closed on 23rd March as it is the fourth Saturday of the month. Haryana will also have a state holiday on 23rd March for the Martyrdom Day of Bhagat Singh.

    Banks nationwide shall be shut on 24th March as it is a Sunday.
  • 25.03.2024 (Monday) – Holi, Dol Purnima, and Spring Festival – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in all states & UTs except Karnataka, Kerala, Lashyadip, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu will remain closed on 25th March for festivities.
  • 26.03.2024 (Tuesday) – Spring Festival – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Manipur will be closed on 26th March for the Spring Festival.
  • 29.03.2024 (Friday) – Good Friday – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in all states & UTs except Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir will take a day off on 29th March for Good Friday.
  • 30.03.2024 (Saturday) – Holy Saturday – Regional Bank Holiday
    Banks in Nagaland will be closed on 30th March in view of Holy Saturday.
  • 31.03.2024 (Sunday) – Sunday – National Bank Holiday
    Banks nationwide shall be shut on 31st March as it is a Sunday. Kerala and Nagaland will also observe state holidays for Easter Sunday on this date.
